Contents Summary
A full-length documentary about a Polish military mission to Afghanistan. The film is split into three chapters. The first one involves preparations for the mission, with the soldiers training and building their team. Then it shows the soldiers in Afghanistan, in everyday military service, working for the locals and dealing with separation from their families. Finally, the film witnesses the homecoming and the way the soldiers have to adapt to ordinary life again. The four protagonists dreamed about being soldiers when they were kids. Two years ago, they decided to go Afghanistan because it was a matter of military duty, loyalty and honour. The film shows the price soldiers and their families have to pay.
