Contents Summary
The film features an old woman, Ilonka, who lives in a small village on the outskirts of Magyarkanizsa. The locals call this place ‘Mosquito Village’. The travelers passing by see only two rows of houses and are surprised to discover that there are people living in this small world where time seems to have stopped. The village’s only connection to the outside world is the rail bus that passes twice a day. Ilonka has been living there for decades - keeping animals and working on her fields in order to supplement her tiny pension.
