Contents/Summary

Summary
The story takes place after 1945 but before the Communist takeover in Hungary. A group of students from the National Association of People's Colleges (NÉKOSZ) invade a seminary to propagate their ideas. Heated arguments, singing and dancing take place. The NÉKOSZ group is divided though and two extremist girls seize power. Condensed in the story of occupying the seminary, Jancsó models revolution, the relationship between subordination and power, and warns about the threats of the revolution evolving into abuse of power.
