Contents Summary
The heroes of 'Les Invisibles' are 11 gay men and lesbian women from France, born between the two world wars. Some live as couples, others are single on principle, while others have witnessed their partners’ passing. Several came out as being gay in the 1960's and 1970's. Others succumbed to societal pressure by marrying and having children, only acting on their homosexual desires when they were slightly older. Some led hedonistic lives, going through dozens of partners, whilst others spent decades with one person, 'Les Invisibles' offers an open insight into their different stories.
