Scope and content (abstract)
The files include publications of the EU Monitoring and Advocacy Program (EUMAP). The publications are written by national experts and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to compile reports that are distributed widely throughout Europe and internationally. The reports are designed to encourage broader participation in the process of articulating the EU’s common democratic values as well as in ongoing monitoring of compliance with human rights standards throughout the union. EUMAP reports and publications are focused on minority protection, judicial independence, judicial capacity, corruption and anti-corruption policy, equal opportunities for women and men, education and employment for people with intellectual disabilities, as well as on regulation, policy and independence of television across Europe.
