The series contains the records of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party's Reform Circle Movements. The majority of the documents are from 1989. The following three events played an important role in the process of this movement spreading nationwide: the reform workshop consultation on April 15, 1989, the first, national consultation in Szeged on May 20-21, and the second, national consultation in Budapest on September 2-3. The documents connected to these events together with the activity of the national coordinating committee. Program information and documents from the preparation of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party congress held in Autumn 1989 can also be found here.
The participants of the ten sections of the Budapest consultation signed huge posters. These posters are in a separate box at the end of the series.
Four documents from the period of 1999 and 2002 are about the afterlife of the reform movement.
