Materials include press clippings, news releases, reports, and publications. The series documents a wide range of topics related to Hungary. The most extensively covered issues are: domestic political life, political parties after the fall of the communist regime, elections, ministries, parliament, NATO, foreign relations and human rights. Another important part of the material deals with ethinic minorities in Hungary, as well as with the situation of the Hungarian minorities in the neighboring countries. There is a quite detailed list of various associations among the files, with some background information on them, including such rarities as the Federation of Roma Workers, the Society of Sober Hungarians or the Hungarian Realistic Popular Movement.
