In Turkish Kurdistan the village of Hasankeyf exists, which was created more than 10000 years ago. Today it is doomed to end forever after the construction of a dam on the Tigris River. This flooding will erase people, their belongings, a unique river ecosystem and archeology, the balance of a customary rural lifestyle that flows in the veins of the very humankind.
