Contents Summary
The documentary tells the impressive story of Guatemala’s first female Attorney General Claudia Paz y Paz in her fight against impunity. Claudia starts a frontal attack against corruption, drug gangs and impunity and does what everyone had hitherto held to be impossible: she arrests former dictator Efraín Rios Montt on charges of genocide, which becomes the world's first conviction of a former head of state for genocide in a national court. The film is an intimate glimpse into the life of a woman who wants to change her country and therefore brings immense sacrifices. An epic tale of personal sacrifice, of change and of hope.
