Content and structure

Scope and Content (Narrative)
The fonds consists of textual, visual and electronic records related to the activities of the Belarusian Soros Foundation (BSF) in the period from 1994-1997. It was founded in 1992 with the support of the Open Society Institute and was ceased to exist in 1997. The materials include founding documentation, annual reports of BSF, media coverage (press clippings) as well as the documents covering the different programs activities, such as Ecological, Economics, Education, East-East and Women's progams. Additionally, it includes video recordings on BSF and related materials like television news type programs of political events of Belarus, conducted by independent Belarusian journalists.
