In 1943 a 17-year-old Ukrainian, Anastasia Gulej, was sent to Auschwitz. At the beginning of 1945 she was transferred to Bergen Belsen. She survived through both death camp placements and moved back to Kiev. She now speaks on the behalf of those that perished there against the backdrop of political events following the Kiev Maidan Revolution.
