Contents Summary
The NGO Káva and Krétakör Theatre in cooperation with several sociologists and with the participation of Roma and non-Roma residents of the villages Ároktő and Szomolya, decided to establish a community theater – based on the idea of Augusto Boal – and call it the “New Spectator” theater. The project was the first attempt in Hungary which created a public forum for addressing social conflict through theater.
