Contents Summary
In the Mexican city of Juárez, close to the American border, a large number of young women have disappeared in recent years. Many are still missing, but the discovery of several bodies indicates that the women were murdered. The documentary follows these unsolved and highly publicized crimes against women along the Mexico-U.S. border. The filmmakers integrate testimony from relatives, journalists, factory workers and police officials. The film draws attention to the horrors perpetrated against grieving parents still desperate for answers, showing up a disturbing web of corruption that reaches the highest levels of the Mexican government.
