Scope and Content (Abstract)
The series contains articles based in most instances on Soviet press and radio materials screened by Radio Liberty's Research Department, with evaluations added by staff analysts. Originally intended for background use by the Radio Liberty broadcasting staff, the Research Bulletin was eventually made available as a courtesy to specialists interested in Soviet affairs.
The series also features the Supplements to the Research Bulletin: these are research papers on separate topics written on an irregular basis.
In addition, the series contains an index to the publications by number, title and date of the report, organized under year as a main category with subjects as sub-categories. There is an additional index by author and number organized under year of publication as a main category.
