The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Two men work on Ampex tape recorders in the Control Studio. One of them is sitting at an audio mixer, his hands are on buttons, the other is standing by the tape recorder. Both wear suits and are shot with their backs to the viewer. There is a telephone and and ashtray on a side table. ORIGINAL CAPTION: Control Studio work includes correct level adjustment and speedy "cutting" and splicing of tapes on the Ampex recorders.
