The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Deputy News Director Tom Bodin, Editor William Kirtz, News Director Nat Kingsley, Special Events Chief Stephen Steinberg and Editor Jon Powis work in a corner of the news room at the time of the Arab-Israeli war. All of the men wear office clothes and are in feverish discussion, most of them standing around a desk. On the desk there is telephone, a typewriters, several reference books, papers scattered all over and in a box. On the wall there is a chest of pigeon holes, bunches of paper hanging on pegs, a clipboards, a catalog cabinet. Cf.
