Summary

'Fighting for Nothing to Happen' documents forced migration outside of the European context. The film partners up with a Christian NGO in its intention to push forward a relocation project after a volcanic eruption in Eastern Indonesia. A concerned host community, unclear land rights, a corrupt government and restless refugees challenge the protagonist and his companions in their attempts to build the community back up.
