a| “1,2,3” is a documentary film researching women’s issues in Afghanistan. It is divided into three parts: first, women who self–immolate and the reasons for their choice, second, underage marriage and finally women who go to the courts to solve their family problems. In every case, the women suffer and end up physically and psychologically damaged. The film shows how difficult it is for them to break away from home, to voice their concerns and escape their predicament.
