Of outstanding interest is a manual of procedures in the US Army's Refugees Reception Center at Camp Kilmer in New Jersey, where over 3,500 refugees were housed in early 1957.
Correspondence with former camp inmates, and photographs of the 1956 revolution in Budapest, as well of life in the camp and the activities of volunteers are also included.
