Scope and content (abstract)
Starting from 1989 the amount of the letters received by the Samizdat Unit was increased and the new system of registartion was introduced. Upon arrival of each letter the staff members filled into the special books the following information: Date recieved Postmark Sender's name Sender's address Date written Addressee Given to Remarks The last field usualy contains short information about the character or content of the letter (postcards, requests, etc) The register covers period from March 1989 to February 1991 and includes the total number of 9140 received letters.
