- Imre and Piroska live an isolated life mining charcoal in Romania. Their quiet life is disturbed by the rising numbers of foreign tourists who come to see "real forest people" among other touristic attractions. Between the hard work and pictures with tourists, Imre and Piroska dream about winning the lottery with a very personal combination of numbers. “24 Buckets, 7 Mice, 18 Years” shows the daily challenges the couple faces.
