The subfond contains publications by István Kemény on public life and politics around and after the Hungarian transition. These publications were mainly intended to put the results of research projects carried out by Kemény into practice and bring them into mainstream political discourse. Reactions to everyday political events can also be found among the articles too.
The first series of the subfond contains mainly press clippings and preparatory notes.
The second series includes handwritten preparatory manuscripts for the Hungarian service of the BBC.
