Scope and content (abstract)
The Subfonds contains material created and collected during the course of the everyday administrative work of the Foundation for the Support of European Intellectuals (FEIE). The first series consists of the material created during the period when FEIE operated as an affiliate of the International Association of Cultural Freedom (IACF). The second series includes the FEIE Council and Secretariat files, including mainly activity and financial reports. Financial records, correspondence and issued bank statements are placed in the third series. The fourth series contains chronologically arranged correspondence between the Secretariat of FEIE in Paris, management, Western institutions and grantees.
