Telephone Calls

Series

Contains transcripts of voice messages from the voice recorder of the Hungarian Broadcasting Department. The messages generally contain the listeners' positive or less appreciative feedbacks to various Hungarian broadcasts, but sometimes they are only requests for certain information (e.g. phone numbers, addresses, and book titles) or programs to be repeated. For a better understanding, the typist would occasionally add short comments to the transcribed messages, such as " the same listener', 'female voice", "the lunatic", and "request for music".
