- The exhibition of Galeria Centralis Freeze Frames of Communism (October 21 - December 18, 1998) provided a comprehensive view of the various types of diafilm (35 mm film slides) in Hungary.

- Several dozens of diafilm were be presented in their original form, with squeaky-smelly projectors, as well as with the use of modern computer and computer related technology, giving a new and unexpected twist to this old and almost forgotten genre, that was extensively used for ideological indoctrination in Hungary throughout the Communist period.
