Series description: Newsmagazine of the USSR State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting aired weekly on Sundays at 7 p.m. in 1969-1987. The program consisted of several sections: an overview of the major political and economic events of the week, the workers fight for their rights, unemployment and racism, national liberation movements, international security, and culture. Its slogan was "Events, Facts, and Commentaries."
