Thousands of Muslims from Srebrenica are fleeing as the UN declared safe area was overrun by the Bosnian Serb forces. In light of the fall of Srebrenica, Bill Clinton said that the UN mission in Bosnia must be strengthened or its days will be numbered. The Serbs step up assaults against two safe areas. Witnesses of ethnic cleansing claim that Ratko Mladić attended much of the atrocities by the Bosnian Serb forces after the fall of Srebrenica.
