The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Two men are sitting with their backs to the viewer in the Master Control Room. They are wearing suits. One of them is on the phone, the other is writing on a piece of paper held on his lap. In the room there is a wall-size switchboard, an audio mixer as well as several other pieces of machinery, telephones, clocks with New York and Munich time, chairs, waste basket. Cf.
